hemotherapy Treatment In India
What is chemotherapy ?
Chemotherapy is a general term for treatments that use chemical agents (drugs) to kill cancer cells. Many different kinds of drugs are used, either alone or in combination, to treat different cancers. The specific drug or combination used is chosen to best combat the type and extent of cancer present.
Chemotherapy drugs are given for several reasons :-
1. To treat cancers that respond well to chemotherapy
2. To decrease the size of tumors for easier and safer removal by surgery
3. To enhance the cancer-killing effectiveness of other treatments, such as radiation therapy
4. In higher dosages, to overcome the resistance of cancer cells
5. To control the cancer and enhance the patient’s quality of life…….
Types of Chemotherapy Drugs
Common types of cytotoxic chemotherapy drugs include :-
* Alkylating agents modify/damage cancer cell DNA and block the replication of DNA, therefore interfering with the growth of cancer cells…….
Other drugs used in cancer therapy include :-
1) Hormonal agents target the hormonal processes that may stimulate cancer cell growth and/or survival.
2) Biological agents affect natural processes that may stimulate cancer cell growth and survival. Read more...

So how do we do it, the eating out diet? We have had the revelation that has inspired a change of mind about the way we eat. The research did its convicting work and the change is irrevocable. We have committed to ‘do or die’ in the moment of our epiphany. Yet here we are . It is Friday evening and we are in the presence of friends having a great time having been invited out to that restaurant. What do we do ? This is the eating out diet. Pizza was not in the plan. Pasta was not in the plan. The pressure to conform was not in the plan!. Cold beads of sweat are beginning to appear on the brow and a feeling of “not really feeling that hungry thank you” is beginning to settle in the pit of the stomach. The pulsing of elevated blood pressure in the neck and temple. Shortness of breath and our fingernails are feeling unusually sensitive. The eating out diet is looking better eaten in. Where is the restroom? Where are the exit doors? Is this really worth a heart attack? TGIF ? So what is this eating out diet thing all about anyway? We can always begin tomorrow! Yes, compromise is the answer. Read more...

In 2010 a new series of quarters will be launched by the United States Mint. The America the Beautiful Quarters series will issue a total of 56 circulating quarter dollar coins over the course of twelve years, featuring National Parks or other National Sites from each of the states, territories, and the District of Columbia.
The new series begins two years after the conclusion of the popular 50 State Quarters Program. From 1999 to 2008, the US Mint released a total of fifty different coins to honor each of the states. Average Americans were able to learn more about history and geography by examining the coins received in change. A separate program was launch in 2009 to feature the remaining United States Territories and Washington, DC.
The prior programs and the new America the Beautiful Quarters program share some similarities, but also have some differences. Similarly, the new program will feature unique reverse designs for each subject, released at a rate of five new designs per year. The obverse of the coins will feature a constant design, which is a restored portrait of George Washington. The quarters will be issued for general circulation, allowing anyone to collect the coins from change received at everyday transactions. Read more...
