Adult onset diabetes is a common form of diabetes which is mostly seen in diabetic people. It takes up to 90 percent of diabetes cases. Diet is the main cause of diabetes. The symptoms of adult onset diabetes appear slowly and most of the times it makes difficult to recognize it.

Here the insulin produced is low or not sufficient or the receptors of the cells do not react to insulin produced which is commonly known as insulin resistance.
Due to insulin resistance the body secretes more and more insulin and develops a resistance to insulin production.
Diabetes is divided mainly into two types Type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is known as juvenile diabetes as it is known to young adult and teenagers. It is also known by the name early onset diabetes.

Diabetes is mainly classified into three types. Type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is more common among teenagers. So it is known by the name Juvenile diabetes. In type 1 diabetes body stops secreting insulin.
The patients with type 1 diabetes need to inject insulin doses, Insulin is a must dose over here so it also known by the name insulin dependent diabetes mellitus.

A recent sutvey of students found that 60% had been on a diet over the previous 12 months, whilst at the same time it was found that only 9% had a body mass index above what is considered to be correct for their height and weight.
There are basically 2 types of eating disorder – anorexia and bulimia.
On their own, these disorders are very serious, but if the sufferer also has diabetes, there is serious risk to life. Neither anorexia nor bulimia allow the sufferer to either retain food long enough, or to eat anything at all, to produce blood glucose. Read more...

Tip 1 – Make Sure Others Understand What To Do In The Event Of A Hypoglycaemic Event.
Extreme hypoglycaemic events are rare, However, sometimes we don’t notice a “hypo” developing. It is important that you have family at home and colleagues at work who can recognise the symptoms and know what to do in the event of an extreme episode. Carry some form of identification that shows you are diabetic.
Tip 2 – Find a Friend to Work Out With.
Staying motivated to exercise regularly as required by diabetes is dificult on your own. Having someone else to exercise with makes it harder to pass up when it’s raining outside!
