To build your own magnetic energy generator can be an educational and cost saving project. In the move to more sustainable sources of power, you can reduce your power consumption or take your home off of the power grid completely by producing your own electric power. With a little mechanical knowledge you can build your own home made power plant.
The basic required pieces are an alternator or DC generator, a pulley to mount to the shaft of the generator shaft, a belt, an engine or mechanic drive that propels the generator to spin and a mounting bracket.
A person can either choose to physically design the alternator/generator, or can use an existing one and install it within a production and storage system that is designed by the user. This can be done inexpensively and with a little patience.
The components are mounted on the plate within reasonable distance to each other with the axis of the mechanical drive side by side to the alternator axis. Around the pulley on the end of the alternator shaft, the belt wraps to connect the drive mechanism and turn the alternator axis. Once mounted in place, with proper belt tension, the batteries can be wired in series to the alternator. Read more...
