Babies … they are a wonder of life. The female body is developed and nurtured within and outside the uterus. But for all the wonder and joy to another being in the world, it’s a number on the body.
You know what this is about, your feet got bigger, your abs is not bouncing back and your breasts have lost their perkiness. Yes, the most visible aspect of your femininity like deflated balloons.
It is common for mothers to practice plastic surgery, once they are finished having children and a breast lift is one of the main procedures. So, if you are falling, in May this be the answer for you.
A breast lift can do wonders for the mother’s self-esteem. You are so busy raising children, keeping the house and maybe even half of the take home household income that you rarely take time for yourself.
You know what the same once you become a mother; your life is no longer yours. After what pregnancy has done to your body, sexy is not how you describe yourself to everyone. But who says mothers cannot be sexy? Read more...

Dealing with a sick baby is often the most scary and stressful moment a parent can ever faced. If you could only take away the pain that your baby is experiencing, you will in no doubt do it; but we all know that a baby getting sick is unavoidable, and the least that we can do is to do everything within our capabilities to help make our babies feel better.
If your baby develops a fever, is not interested in feeding,is vomiting, has watery diarrhea, and develops a skin rash, the best thing to do is to contact your pediatrician. It is strongly advisable that you should be alert at all times for these symptoms because your baby is still not capable of speaking and muttering of what he is feeling; you should observe your baby at all times for any physical and behavioral changes. You should always be prepared in case of an emergency.
How to know if it’s a fever already?
A temperature of 37.5 degrees celcius is considered a slight fever, but body temperature typically varies during the day. It is usually lowest in the morning, and highest in the afternoon. Normal temperature also differ from one person to another. Babies usually have a higher normal temperature than adults. Read more...

Baby proofing your home is one of many ways to keep your precious children safe from harm. The home is actually one of the most dangerous places for children, because parents can often overlook hazards that can put their children at risk. Unfortunately, these hazards can be anywhere. Fortunately, there is something you can do about it. Child proof your home.
Here are a few tips you can use in order to baby proof your home.
Covering Low Sharp Edges
As grownups, even we have fallen victim to the shin gouging of the coffee table. Babies are just as susceptible, only their heads are at risk more than their shins. This risk is especially hazardous to babies just learning to get around.
In order to prevent injury to your baby, you can purchase plastic or rubber table edging or even just put some sturdy tape around the edges of any table low enough for your baby to reach.
Cover Exposed Power Outlets
An exceptionally dangerous hazard in the home is the exposed electrical socket. Babies and just beginning to explore their world and everything around them is fair game. Putting anything into an electrical outlet can cause shorts, electrocution and even fires. Read more...

One of the hardest things with being a parent is how to discipline your child, as times are changing so is the way we discipline our children. While using the belt may have been considered to be acceptable in the 60’s it is definitely not acceptable now. Times are changing and mostly for the better!
As we all move away from our families, both in distance and in the way we deal with situations, it can be hard to know where to go for help with understanding the best way to deal with your children. I always think that discipline and structure is the hardest part of parenting, because to much and it is oppressive and not enough and the kids run riot.
No matter what situation you are going through with your child or children you can be assured that you are not the first parent to experience it and you certainly won’t be the last. Realizing this really helped me as it means I now go and do some research on the Internet before I make a final decision on how to deal with a situation about which i am unsure. Read more...

There are ways in which a couple can increase their chances of conceiving a baby boy and in this article we look at one way of how to conceive a boy. It is important that if the couple want the sperm which contains the male gene reaches the egg first to fertilize it they need to know exactly when the woman is ovulating. The best way of being able to determine when a woman is ovulating is by using a prediction kit.
In fact ovulation prediction kits are proving very popular as a way of being able to detect the exact time period when a woman has begun to ovulate. The main advantage of using an ovulation prediction kit (OPK) is that it will tell the woman when she is about to start ovulating before it has even begun. These kits are able to detect the increased production of Luteinizing hormone within her uterus and this generally takes place around 36 hours before ovulation. Read more...

When it comes to choosing a crib for your baby, it seems that the choices and constantly changing varieties increase by the day. What may start off seeming like a fairly uncomplicated task of getting a bed for your baby ends up getting more and more confusing the more you search and read various product descriptions that the individual models can offer you.
The Rosalia Forever collection is a particularly beautiful crib. It has very traditional curvy legs and a straight-backed headboard with an elegant curve along the top. The side rails curve slightly outwards. There are plain slats on all four sides, with the side slats also curving outwards. What is very appealing about its overall design is the rounded rails found on all four sides; the rounded rails on the curvaceous side panels are extremely elegant. It comes in a variety of finishes including antique walnut, cherry, cinnamon, distressed white, matte white and natural.
And now – the fun part. Convertible cribs come in hundreds of different styles and colors. Choosing a style that fits with the baby’s nursery dcor will be easy – but will it also fit into a toddler’s bedroom, or even a teenager’s? Are there other pieces of furniture available that will match? Does the style look right with the crib bedding that you have in mind? Read more...

Professors at a facility where they are conducting a range of inane experiments have concluded that if you don’t have you baby facing you as you push him or her around, you could unintentionally be causing mental and emotional stress. What absolute rot. I am supposed to believe that having your baby closed off from the outside world, and to only be staring directly up into the sky at mummy and daddy’s face is a good thing for him or her.
From birth our kids get to see our faces all the time, I mean all the time, so why would I want my child to be gawping at my face both inside the home and out, which is full of strange new images, sounds and smells. I am not a big fan of smothering a child as you can probably tell.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying ignore your child at all, I get that they will feel more secure looking at a friendly face, but boredem must set in fairly quickly for a child if they are looking at the same image constantly. A child’s first few years are its most productive in terms of learning ability so I want my child to see as much as possible, experience variety, the big wide open ever changing world. I have an interesting face, I think, but I can’t compete with the world. Read more...

I am sure you have heard the newest buzz in child-care products to hit worldwide news is the connection concerning dioxins, disposable diapers, and health care issues. Could that diaper you’re wrapping around your baby’s bottom be one that increases the risk of skin irritation and diaper rash? Even worse to consider is the question whether the dioxins disposable diapers have set off cancer or immune system depression. Those are scary thoughts for a new parent needing to offer baby the best.
The big discussion is because disposable diapers fall into the ranks of bleached paper products manufactured with chlorinated wood pulp. Dioxins have shown to collect easily in the human body, being stored in fatty tissues. Trace amounts of dioxins have been found in paper products that we utilize each day, such as the disposable diapers we wrap children in for years. Selections such as cloth and chlorine-free diapers do exist, though cloth diapers unquestionably do not gain many points in ease of application and cleaning.
So now chlorine-free diapers have hit the marketplace. Manufacturers of chlorine-free diapers employ a different procedure to get their product white, which means a reduced amount of toxins in our landfills. Not only that, chlorine-free diapers are friendlier to babies’ bottoms and cause less diaper rash. Read more...
