I worry less about my daughter going wayward when she finally goes away to college, more of others pointing her to the wrong way. I taught her to use her brain and innate abilities to think for herself and act fast in a situation.
I have yet to find anything similar to the SafeFamilyLife Extreme College Survival Kit to help me protect my daughter at college. Universities are replete with countless versions of lawbreakers and I do not take the matter lightly.
Knowing her, she would have started shopping around for self defense tools so I did her one better. The SafeFamilyLife Extreme College Survival Kit contains several products grouped by experts to serve a highly specific purpose.
Ensuring the element of surprise are a 1/2 oz. pepper spray with keychain and lipstick pepper spray. A 1/2 oz. pepper spray with visor clip for cars should protect my daughter at college escapades, and a 2 oz. pepper spray with wall mount, at the dorm.
How hard she worked to earn that car I promised her as a going-away present. Now she has a nap alarm to stay safe while driving. Wherever she goes, she can turn to the Cell Phone Lite and electronic pocket whistle. Read more...

As dreadful as it may sound, jumping back in the dating scene may be a good idea. I know it’s hard to move on at times and to let the old person go and it’s completely understood. Let’s talk about a few reasons why it’s a good idea to consider dating again.
During the actual break up fight, things are said to hurt the other and truths are told that were never told during the relationship. This often leaves someone or both parties feeling down about themselves.
Once you start really looking at yourself for who you are and what you have to offer, it makes you feel a lot better. This usually happens when someone new actually “sees” you.
The next best thing to getting into another relationship so fast is a rebound person. That may sound a little harsh, but it can be a good thing for you. You’ll branch out your dating experience and you might even meet someone really interesting in the process. Most importantly, you’ll prevent yourself from sitting miserably at home in the weeks and months after your breakup. Read more...

I am fond of camping, particularly in the forest. Just like my father has often reminded me about outdoor safety, I never venture into the outdoors unprepared with self-defense tools against animal attacks such as bears.
I have met perils in the forest more than once but I have an outdoor shield. I never go camping without bringing a Mace Pepper Spray for bears at all times.
Endorsed by the Alaska Science and Technology Foundation to camping enthusiasts and by the EPA, the Mace Pepper Spray for bears is the strongest defensive bear spray I have found.
One time, I went camping in the forest when I came across a bear feeding on fish by the lake. I froze in panic, which turned out to be a good thing because it just walked past me. Before it could come any closer, I got away.
I had enough time to run while its eyes felt a burning after I used a Mace Pepper Spray for bears. It is so powerful that it can spray up to 30 feet and be emptied onto the threat for only about 5.4 seconds. Nothing could be faster! Read more...

We had our backs to the wall in the staff of a quite prominent legal counsel due to her choice of battles to fight. Anyway, tranquility was the last thing on my mind in the office of a woman’s rights advocate.
We agreed amongst ourselves to sift through the internet for how to ensure self defense for women. The consensus was that high voltage stun guns would require less shots to incapacitate an aggressor, thus compromising our safety for a shorter time.
We were won over in no time by the rechargeable Stun Master Multi-Function Stun Gun with 2.7 million volts. What an indefatigable gadget, equipped with emergency flashing lights, a super bright LED flashlight and 110 dB personal alarm.
A mere 3.5 inches high, Runt Stun Guns in 2.5, 3.5 and 4.5 million volts are some of the most potent high voltage stun guns in a small package. Making use of cutting-edge micro-technology, they fit perfectly in women?s hands.
The Pretender Cell Phone Stun Gun fires 4.5 million volts of stun power counts among the most unstoppable high voltage stun guns. Including a 12 LED flashlight, it is designed to appear like a harmless camera phone. Read more...

My dad told me all about how dangerous it was to live alone in a large city. I was just about to move to Washington to work as a lawyer there. I already had accommodations in a secure building but I want to protect myself 24/7 and on my own terms.
My best friend suggested that I get personal defense tools to add to the security systems I have in my apartment. This seemed perfect since I want to protect myself on the go as well as when I’m home alone.
I surfed the World Wide Web in search for those weapons. I found a ton of devices that are designed specifically for my situation. I closely examined all of them to decide which one I would buy.
There were so many distinct methods that these devices offer to defend one’s self. That’s why I wanted to order everything I saw immediately. I resorted to writing down the best ones that I had to get.
Even if there were a multitude of stun guns and pepper sprays available, I focused more on the rare devices sine I wanted to use personal defense weapons in a different way. This is another precaution that keeps thieves in the dark. Read more...

“I am sorry, you have cancer” is a devastating news no one wants to hear from a physician in these days. Not only the disease is life threatening, but also the side effects of the treatment make the bravest man stumbles. For most people, cancer is like a death sentence, which is not true at all. In fact, being depressed increase the effects of developing cancer and your risk of dying from it. Cancer effects can be emotional and physiological. Experts usually have two ways of describing depression. They consider depression to be sole agent in making a person feel low or negative mood behavior. In another situation, it is suggested to take form of more serious depressive mental illness that contains many symptoms of depression.
Experts believe depression originates from panic feeling. When this panic feeling exceed more, it then said to have converted into a disease. Panic feeling can be both positive and negative depending on how person acts up on.Though there are many Types of Depression effecting various people around the world.
Person stands to gain or lose when depending on how he views panic. For example a person may consult a doctor due to panic of getting seriously ill from a specific life threatening disease. If person did not panic, there is possibility he will not seek to see doctor. So panic do have both positive and negative impact on the patient.
Sensitive people are more likely to suffer depressant effects. Such people can display depressed mood, or loss of interest and pleasure. What would you do if you are suffering from depression? Do you know the ill effects of depression? First of all, it can drain away your energy. You will feel listless, fatigued and won’t have the drive to do something about it. You won’t even feel like taking positive steps for making yourself feel better and happy.
You may feel worthless and that other people don’t respect you or consider you important. You will suffer from low confidence and low motivation levels. This is common to almost all depression sufferers.
People with depression would usually do any of the following things:
1. They will be mute spectators who won’t do anything to correct their problem
2. They would consult a doctor and take medicines which have serious side-effects
3. They approach a psychotherapist, but they are usually quite expensive
4. They try to overcome this problem through depression self help techniques
You should stay away from the first 2 options. Medication prescribed by doctors usually can have lot of side effects in the long run. The 3rd option is good for people who can afford expensive fees of therapists. There is one more problem with the third method. Read more...

In uncovering the top ten diets that work, I was also exposed to revealing insights as to why some diets work for some people, and not for others. The fact is that just about all diets “work” when it comes to some degree of weight loss. However, many individuals make the crucial mistake of picking a diet that sabotages their chances of success from the beginning.
1) The Diet Does Not Conform To Their Lifestyle
This is a mistake that the majority of dieters are guilty of. Before going on a given diet, or enrolling in a diet program, individuals should closely examine the requirements of the diet. After looking over the requirements, they should compare them to the realities of their lifestyle. As I researched the top ten diets that work, I found that each of them suited the lifestyle of a high percentage of people.
For example, if an individual has an occupation where they are constantly eating “on the run”, is it realistic that they will stick to a plan that features all prepared meals?
Probably not.
If a diet requires drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day, is it realistic to select it if you can’t make frequent trips to the bathroom throughout the day? Read more...

The main signs and symptoms of Diabetes
Unusual thirst
Increase in appetite
Increased urination
Unusual weight loss
Lack of energy
Fatigue
Frequent infections
Slow healing
Numbness in hands and legs
Diabetes is divided into two types mainly type 1 and type 2. Type 2 diabetic people do not show any signs and symptoms of the disease so it is advised that they go screening test after the age of 45.
At the initial stages of symptoms of diabetes are high blood sugar levels i.e. when the blood sugar level is high and above 160 to 180mg/dL. When the glucose level is high the kidney excretes additional water and this leads to urination and dehydration is common.
To overcome the loss of water the body requires water so excessive thirst is common. A person also losses weight due to calories lost in urine. Type 1 diabetic persons losses weight easily as compared to type diabetic people.
The signs and symptoms developed in type 1 diabetes are abrupt and rapid leading to a condition known as ketoacidosis. In spite of high presence of glucose the cells in the body cannot utilize it properly this makes the fats to break down producing ketones in and other chemical toxin substances leading to blood acidic.
